Acquista il DVD dell'eventoHmmmm, su questa tappa si puó dire molto come non si può neanche dire niente. Dipende dai punti di vista. Personalmente avrei così tante cose da dire che mi farei prendere la mano e magari esagererei. In un certo senso sto dalla parte dei corridori, ho molti amici nel gruppo ... però oggi ... mamma mia, ne sono rimasto deluso.
Non voglio andare nei dettagli, non so per quale motivo abbiano protestato alla partenza. Non credo a quello che scrivono i giornalisti, lo sentirò più avanti da uno del gruppo.
Posso però immaginare come mai la prima ora di corsa sia stata effettuata ad una media molto blanda ... magari si cercava di ritardare il più possibile l'arrivo??? Visto che si conoscono i tempi televisivi e che entro le 17.00
BISOGNA arrivare a tutti i costi??? Nel caso contrario salterebbe la diretta... poi in gioco sono arrivati gli elicotteri ponte, che non potevano volare oltre una certa altitudine. La cosa comporterebbe l'inquadratura appena degli ultimi 500 metri, o nel caso del
Plan de Corones visto che era con telecamere fisse solo l'ultimo km???
Domande difficili da rispondere... ma a me sembra alla fine tutta una farsa televisiva. E se veramente fosse cosí, allora gli atleti del gruppo devono
VERGOGNARSI, come dovevano VERGOGNARSI gli sciatori a livello mondiale che per lo sciopero di operatori RAI non effettuarono la discesa mondiale di BORMIO 2 anni fa.
Parlo sempre in modo personale, pensando a poche semplici cose:
- Il ciclismo professionistico vive grazie alla passione del ciclismo amatoriale e dei tifosi
- Grazie a questa massa arrivano poi gli sponsor per le squadre
Quindi deduco che senza la nostra/vostra passione il Giro e le altre corse non sarebbero quello che sono ora, se mi sbaglio potete commentare quello che dico tranquillamente.
Ora i tifosi e gli appassionati li dividiamo, ci sono quelli che seguono appassionatamente ogni corsa da casa, magari non hanno la possibilità di guardare il giro in strada, ma si appassionano lo stesso. Poi abbiamo i tifosi che fanno di tutto per seguire una tappa in diretta:
- prendono vacanza dal lavoro
- arrivano il giorno prima
- dormono in tenda
- si fanno anche loro le salite del giro
e per cosa??? Tutto questo per passione, perchè si vede sicuramente meglio una tappa in TV che dal vivo, dove dopo 10 secondi sono passati. Questa però è vera passione.
Bene carissimi direttori del Giro, corridori e altri addetti al lavoro.
Cosa ne dite di scusarvi con i migliaia di tifosi che oggi vi attendevano al Passo delle Erbe e su in cima al Plan de Corones sotto la neve??? Non venitemi a dire che era per l'incolumitá dei corridori.... in quanto, da quel verso potreste lavorare molto di più in modo differente!!!
Per ora, ai lettori del mio blog posso solo dirvi di consolarvi con il video da me girato e visualizzabile piú avanti su questa pagina. E poi invito tutti a vedere le
foto di oggi. Non vedrete professionisti nelle foto (ero troppo deluso per scattarne), ma solo
i veri Eroi della giornata.

English versionBuy the DVD of the eventHmmmm, this one was one of the stages where you can write a lot or write nothing, it depends on your personal mood. It really depends on the point of view of each person. Personally, I have so much things to say that I would exaggerate, so I've to to connect the brain before I let the fingers run alone over the keyboard. In one way, I'm on the side of the cyclist, but today ... I feel really
disappointed.
I don't want to go in the details, I don't know really why the riders had trouble to start the stage. I
don't believe what pressmans write about it, I'll hear that directly in the future from a friend in the group.
But I can try to image why the first hour of the stage was so slow... maybe they tried to delay the arrival of the stage??? As they know that the stage have to finish before 5.00 PM for the live TV coverage, they wanted to delay it and hope of a cut of the stage??? The helicopters couldn't fly above the clouds they said, so the LIVE coverage of the last climb of the Plan de Corones wasn't possible (so less sponsors to show on TV), was a solution to let them arrive just on the Furcia???
Questions that are hard to answer, all seems to me a
TV farce, and if it is really like that the group should be
ashamed of that.
I speak always for mine, and I say that thinking at this simply things:
- Pro cycling just exists as there are a lot of fans that with their
passion follow this sport.
- Thank to this amount of persons, there are sponsors that invest the money in the teams.
So I deduce that without our/your passion, the Giro and other
cycling events wouldn't exist, or would not be what they are now. If I'm wrong, write in the comments what you think about it.
Now there are two kind of fans. The ones that are at home as they cannot go to watch a stage live, but suffer with the riders while watching them on TV. And there the fans that
do everything to be there, to watch the stage with their eyes:
- they take a day off from work
- they arrive one day earlier
- they sleep outside
- they ride the climbs of the stages (with every weather conditions)
and for what??? Only for the passion, as you see more of a stage on TV that with your eyes on place, where after 10 seconds all is gone.
That's the real cycling passion. Well, my dear Giro organizers and riders.
Why you don't apologize to the thousands of fans that where today on the Passo delle Erbe and at the top of the Plan de Corones??? Waiting without any problem under the bad weather on the cyclists???Please don't come and tell me that you did that for the cyclists health ... as in this case you have a really steep way up to work in another way!!!
So, for now, to all the readers of my blog that followed me on this adventure you can comfort yourself with the video of the climb that you can see in my previous post.
There are also todays pictures ready. You will not see the pro-cyclists on them, but you will see the real
HEROES of the day.
